Our Christmas Gift

Matt and I have a very exciting Christmas gift arriving on Monday! We told you about 3 kids that were in need of a home right before Thanksgiving. For some reason, things were moving very slowly with that situation. In 3 weeks, we hadn't actually heard any new information on these children. Then this week we received a call from Covenant Kids. They had a different placement that they wanted us to think about. There are 2 little boys who needed immediate placement. We thought through all of the different aspects of both situations and decided that the 2 boys would be a perfect fit for us. This has moved much more quickly than before, and they are bringing them to our house on Monday!!! We are just so excited!!

The best part of this is that we will bring both children with us on our Christmas trip to see both families!! It took some fast talking with the airline people, but we have made it work! We will have a week to get acclimated to each other before Matt and I get the wonderful experience of flying with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Our 3 year old may even get to ski!
